Thanks for
your comments on the ground, I'll pass them on. Hopefully in the closed
season we can do some more work on our ground. It all takes time and money.
The club do run work days at the ground and invites anyone who can spare
a few hours to do painting etc etc to come along. Dates and times for
these are on the forum so if anyone feels they can help out please come
along next time.
I
currently live in Congleton and on the 27th Nov 2007 I had a little boy
called Jack. Unfortunatley he was very poorly and on 1st Dec 2007 he fell
asleep at St Marys Hospital Manchester. The hospital made sure we spent
4 days with our little boy and that time was so special to us. We received
lots of support from the hospital and so we are currently trying to raise
funds to help the hospital to continue to help support parents that have
lost their babies. So the reason I am emailing you is really to ask if
you would be willing to donate some items that we would be able to auction
off to help raise some cash.
Thanks in advance

c-t-y,
There are only 3 mid week games left. Tuesday 26th Feb we are at home
to Maine Road, Monday 24th March (bank holiday) we are at home to Newcastle
Town and Tuesday 1st April we are in the Cheshire Senior Cup final away
at Winsford. I hope you can make some of these games.
How
long as adam wilkes bein with the club and what do u think of is prospects
at the club. how old his he. thanks chris.
Adam Wilkes is 19 years old. His first game was
25th August. At the moment Adam is my first choice keeper, he's settled
in well & already won 'Safe Hands' award in our league.
Now
you are 6th in the the first division are you going for promotion next
season? may I add that you are doing a fantastic job for the club, keep
up the good work
Regarding promotion next season - well this season is only at the half
way stage so we are concentrating on finishing as high as possible this
season. Top 3 is the aim but it's still along way to go. We are only 7
points behind top so we have not wrote this season off yet (and we still
don't know how many are being promoted). Thanks for your support.
Dear
Anthony, My son is among 4 or 5 players who represent Macclesfield and
District Youth managed by Mike Cunningham. These lads as often as possible
turn out for Congleton Town Youth Team. It is firmly believe that some
of these lads could play semi professionally as they get older. Do you
ever take look at these lads who could easily compete at reserve team
level at this moment in time.
The
reserve team train with the first team on a regular basis. Dean keeps
me informed about the progress the Youth team are making this year but
as yet I have not been to a match. I myself played in this league at the
age of 16, & I gave Danny Biegus his debut in the Unibond for Kidsgrove
aged 16 & so many days, so I am a true believer in if you are good
enough you are old enough. Hopefully some of these lads will get a run
out in the reserve at some stage to see how they fair. I will speak to
Ronnie (Reserve manager) about watching them soon & when time allows
I will get to some matches.
